We thought we'd take a moment and share a couple of the nice stories that have been recently shared by our customers.
What an unforgettable trip!
First, the Yemaya is a great boat; everything is perfect on board. The crew is so friendly: cook deserve 3 stars on the "Guide Michelin", the DM (Diego and Fabio) were so nice guides. I can still hear them knocking on their tank to get our attention on a big fish!
During the crossing from Coïba to Coco, we met a lot of dolphins, some whales, turtles...
And what about the dives? Just magic!! We saw almost everything that makes Coco so famous: lot of hammerheadsd, Galapagos sharks, nurse shark (coiba), white tips, even 4 tiger sharks, and all so close from us. We also could see a couple of mantras, eagle rays, marble rays and giant schools of Jacks. It's just amazing to dive in the middle of thousands of such big fishes.
A special mention for the night dives. Hundreds of white tips hunting just 1m below your body!! Imagine the frenzy when one of them catch a poor fish...
Some of us maked a break to climb on the top of Coco. Thanks Otmar, that was a good idea (even if the others saw the whale shark during our ascent...) We spent the day in the jungle and we reach the Cerro Iglesias after 4 and a half hours walking. Hard, but great trek!
For conclusion: I'll be back!!!

Stacey and I have arrived back in Key Largo and want to say how much we enjoyed our Dive Expedition in Coiba.
The Yemeya its facilities and crew are all first rate and we feel as if the total experience ranks highly with any live-aboard experience in the world!
Coiba is the kind of dive destination where a diver has the opportunity of experiencing a large diversity of diving from large schools of pelagic to some surprisingly nice corals and a few macro opportunities. A diver can be surprised at almost anytime as we saw the biggest bait ball we have ever seen including at Cocos.
Our room on the boat was spacious as was the rest of the boat and of course you know that the food is some of the best we have ever had!
We hope to reserve for a group next year when we can decide on some dates and are going to direct divers for individual bookings to Coiba Dive Expeditions and the Yemeya. We feel that this is a great trip for anyone but especially those coming from the east coast due to Panamas proximity and the huge difference in diving from what they see in the Caribbean.
I have already posted some pics on our facebook page and and I am going to also post a trip report om scubaboard and also plan to submit an article to a couple of the dive magazines.
We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to working with you in the future!

As part of our world trip we travelled to Coiba and Cocos Islands on the Yemaya II in April 2010 and what a trip it was! The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make the trip extra special for you. Bianca the office angel helped us with a package we had sent to Panama. On the morning of the trip we were warmly welcomed by Otmar (boat owner) and Diego (divemaster). When we arrived to the Yemaya Cristiano the captain gave us a warm welcome and through the trip the rest of the crew particularly Juan Carlos, Nelson and Julio were outstanding as well - friendly, helpful and very professional. The clearly experienced dive crew took us on some great dives leading us to have some unforgettable experiences with sharks, dolphins and several unusual fish!
The boat itself is great - very comfortable with lots of space to chill out. Great diving deck with all necessary equipment and plenty of space. The rooms are comfortable each with full windows rather than portholes. The food is outstanding and I really mean that Juan Carlos is a culinary genius! I have only one question - when can I go back??

We had a great time. Hotel was nice, boat was incredible, food was awesome, service unbelievable!!
Diving was solid, lots of big stuff, mixture of pelagics and reef fish, even game fish.

Hallo Otmar,
